2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
2 cups fresh raspberries
1/3 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
For the Crisp Topping:
¾ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
½ cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
¼ cup chopped nuts (optional – pecans, almonds, walnuts)
½ tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
6 tbsp cold unsalted butter, cubed



Step-by-Step Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a medium baking dish (8×8 or similar).
Make the fruit filling
In a mixing bowl, toss strawberries and raspberries with sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, vanilla, and salt. Pour into prepared baking dish.
Make the crumble
In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, nuts (if using), cinnamon, and salt.
Add cold butter and work it into the dry ingredients using your fingers or a pastry cutter until the mixture is crumbly and holds together when squeezed.
Assemble & bake
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the fruit. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.
